Brea

Brea is an award-winning artist, author and hopeful gardener still trying to convince her plants to survive. She has a love for storytelling, history, and the outdoors an avid reader of history, fiction and thrillers. Brea is drawn to stories that explore hope, perseverance, redemption, and the resilience of the human spirit.  She and her family enjoy backpacking and spending time outdoors, experiences that continue to inspire both her creativity and appreciation for life's quieter moments. As long as she can still carry a backpack and keep up with the trail, she plans to keep going. Brea approaches gardening much the same way she approaches life and story telling: with optimism, persistence, and the understanding that growth often comes through trial and error. While some of her gardening attempts have been more "character-building" than successful, they have also provided endless lessons, inspiration , and humor along the way. Through her writing and art, Brea hopes to encourage imagination, wonder, and a sense of hope-reminding readers that even broken things can bloom again.
